BibleVerse Journal is built with your privacy as the top priority. This app is designed to work completely offline with no accounts, no tracking, and no data collection.

Your faith journey is personal and sacred. We believe that apps focused on spiritual growth and Bible study should respect your privacy completely.

BibleVerse Journal does NOT collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information (no accounts, no names, no emails)
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Religious preferences or spiritual data
• Reading history or verse preferences
• Cookies or tracking pixels
• Third-party analytics or advertising frameworks

All app data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults, CoreData, and App Group for widgets):

App Preferences:

• Your selected theme and visual preferences
• Font size and style settings
• Background preferences
• Notification settings

Personal Content:

• Your favorite Bible verses
• Daily verse history for tracking your journey
• Reading preferences and theme choices

Reminder Settings:

• Local notification schedules (stored and managed by iOS)
• Reminder times and frequency preferences

Note: All this data stays on your device. It is never transmitted to any server, never shared with third parties, and never leaves your control.

BibleVerse Journal includes Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that display your daily Bible verse. Widgets use iOS App Groups to share data between the main app and widget extension:

• Widget data is stored in a shared container on your device
• Only the daily verse text and theme settings are shared
• Widget rendering happens entirely on your device
• No internet connection is required for widgets to function

BibleVerse Journal uses local notifications only. These are scheduled directly on your device by iOS:

• No remote push notification service is used
• No notification tokens are collected or transmitted
• All reminders are scheduled and delivered by iOS on-device
• Notification content (verse text) is generated locally

You can disable notifications at any time through iOS Settings or within the app.

BibleVerse Journal offers a one-time Pro unlock via Apple's In-App Purchase system:

• All purchase transactions are handled securely by Apple
• We do not collect or store payment information
• Purchase receipts are validated locally on your device with Apple's servers
• Your purchase history is managed by Apple, not by us

BibleVerse Journal does NOT integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services:

• No Google Analytics or Firebase
• No Facebook SDK or Meta Pixel
• No advertising networks
• No crash reporting services that collect user data

The only external service interaction is Apple's In-App Purchase validation, which is required for Pro unlock and managed entirely by Apple's secure infrastructure.

Since we don't collect any personal data, you have complete control:

• Data Access: All your data is stored locally on your device and accessible only to you
• Data Deletion: Delete the app to remove all stored data, or reset preferences within app settings
• Data Portability: Your favorites and history can be exported (future feature planned)
• No Data Requests Needed: Since we don't collect data, there's nothing to request from us

BibleVerse Journal is suitable for users of all ages (rated 4+). Because we don't collect any personal information, there are no privacy concerns for children under 13 or any other age group.

The app contains no advertising, no in-app social features, and no external links (except to this privacy policy and support contact).

Your data is protected by iOS security features:

• All data is stored in your device's secure app sandbox
• iOS encryption protects data at rest
• No network transmission means no interception risk
• Optional iCloud sync (future feature) will use Apple's end-to-end encryption

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will:

• Update this page with the new policy
• Update the "Last updated" date
• Notify users through an in-app notice for significant changes
