Shared privacy policy
These sections cover the website, support forms, contact forms, email updates, analytics, App Store purchases, privacy rights, and general app privacy principles.
Overview
NextTap aims to keep privacy information clear and app-specific. The shared policy explains website, support, contact, newsletter, analytics, and App Store purchase handling. Each app page below adds product-specific details where they are known.
NextTap apps
App privacy behavior can differ by product. Do not assume every app uses the same storage, sync, permissions, or server behavior. Use the app-specific privacy pages for the current known details.
- App-specific privacy pages explain what each app handles and whether stronger claims, such as fully on-device storage or no server use, are known for that app.
- Where an app offers iCloud sync, the app-specific page explains the sync behavior that is known from current product information.
- Payments, subscriptions, refunds, and billing details are handled by Apple. The developer does not receive payment card details.
- Support and contact messages are processed to understand the request, send a reply, and prevent abuse.
- EU and EEA users can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to their local data protection authority.
Website data
The website may receive normal technical request data, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps, through hosting and security infrastructure.
Contact and support requests
When you send a contact or support request, the site processes the name, email address, subject, selected topic, selected app, source page, and message you provide. The information is used to route, understand, and respond to the request.
Email updates
If you subscribe to email updates, your email address, source page, confirmation status, and basic abuse-prevention metadata may be stored or sent through the newsletter and email services used to deliver the updates. You can unsubscribe from any email.
App Store purchases
Downloads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds, billing history, and App Store account activity are handled by Apple. NextTap does not receive your payment card details.
Analytics
The website can use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics only after analytics consent is given in the cookie banner. Analytics are used to understand page visits and improve the website. The Password Strength Lab disables site analytics and the consent banner on that tool page.
Data sharing
NextTap does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers only where needed for hosting, analytics after consent, email delivery, newsletter management, support messages, security, legal compliance, or App Store platform functions.
Data retention
Support messages, newsletter records, and technical records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were provided, operational records, legal requirements, security, and abuse prevention.
User rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. EU and EEA users may also complain to their local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
The website and apps are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support so the request can be reviewed.
International users
The website, email, analytics, hosting, and App Store services may process information in countries other than your own, depending on the service provider and platform infrastructure.
Changes
This policy can be updated as apps, website features, support workflows, or legal requirements change. The date on this page reflects the latest published version.
