FAQ
Questions, answered.
Which folders does Storage Cleaner Pro scan?
It scans only folders you select through the standard Mac folder picker. Saved access can be removed from the app at any time.
What is included for free?
The free workspace supports one selected folder, the storage overview, largest-file review, and Finder reveal.
What does Pro include and cost?
A one-time USD 3.99 purchase in the Belize storefront unlocks multiple selected folders, exact duplicate and older-file filters, bulk selection, and move-to-Trash cleanup. It is not a subscription.
How are duplicates identified?
Files with matching sizes are compared using a full-content SHA-256 hash. The app labels exact duplicate candidates only among the files reviewed by the scan.
Does the app delete files permanently?
No. Chosen files are moved to the macOS Trash after confirmation, so normal Trash recovery remains available until the Trash is emptied.
Where is scan data stored?
Scanning and file comparison happen locally on the Mac. Selected folder access and app preferences are saved locally, while scan results stay in the running app.
