Data handled by the app

Connection measurements, recorded sessions, saved baselines and preferences are stored locally. A recent snapshot is shared with the app's widgets through an Apple App Group.
The app does not inspect or capture the content of other apps' internet traffic.

Server use

Connection checks contact public endpoints operated by Cloudflare, Apple and Google. DNS and TLS diagnostics contact cloudflare.com. As with other internet connections, these services and your network provider can receive your IP address and connection metadata. Recorded history is not uploaded to a developer-operated analytics service.

Permissions

On supported Apple platforms, optional Location permission is used to read the current Wi-Fi network name (SSID), subject to system restrictions. The app does not record location coordinates.
Notifications are optional and used for network alerts. You can change notification permission in system settings.

Exports

Exports are created on your device. You choose where to save or share them, and they may contain network information and recorded measurements.

App Store purchases

Apple handles in-app purchases and restoration through StoreKit. The app reads verified purchase entitlements to enable Pro; the developer does not receive payment card details.
