Selected folder names, paths, saved folder access, onboarding state, purchase state, and the last scan date are stored in local app preferences.
Scan results stay in the running app and are not uploaded.

The app does not send file names, file contents, or scan results to NextTap.

There are no accounts or logins.

Permissions

Folder access is requested through the standard Mac folder picker and is limited to locations you select.

The free app offers a one-time lifetime unlock. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

Additional notes

Chosen files are moved to the macOS Trash after confirmation. The app does not permanently erase them.
